Lockheed Martin Program Manager F-35 Mods & Upgrades in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Program Manager in the F35 Mods and Upgrades Program Office executing the authorized Mod Program baseline, ensuring the transition of authorized material Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) into new scope and baseline on the annualized mod contract, integrating Earned Value efforts across authorized scope and ensuring contract close out.
This position will also be responsible for the capture of the follow-on annualized mod contract and positioning for a Multiple Year Program This position will work hands on with the F-35 MRO&U, F-35 Mods & Upgrades Project/Program Managers, Fleet Mods Project Managers /Engineers, Sustainment Supply Kit Managers, Control Account Managers, Business Management and Program Planning and Scheduling to ensure the development of and performance to the Performance Management Baseline.
Changes have an executable plan and work the plan with the VSTs through completion.
The selected candidate may also assist in devising acquisition strategies for F-35 Sustainment activities to ensure acquisition is efficient and implementation of Sustainment system upgrades occurs in concert with aircraft upgrades.
Selected candidate will perform technical/program management; will be responsible for resolution of technical, programmatic, business, and contracting risks and issues that affect the basic configuration of the F-35 weapon system. Task assignments will arise from various sources, and the output from the projects worked by this individual will often include coordination with, and out briefs for, leaders. Candidate will coordinate with various functions on the team to develop integrated technical/project solutions to both tactical and strategic program risks and issues.
This position is expected to be located at our Product Support Integration Center located in North Fort Worth.

•Bachelor’s degree or above
•Experience with program management or program
•Experience with proposals
•Experience leading proposal or capture efforts
•Experience leading cross-functional teams and
partnering across organizational boundaries
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong business acumen, including negotiation and
• Experience performing sustainment and upgrade
programs on LM or aerospace/defense products for
both domestic and international customers are a bonus
• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction
from senior management
• Proven ability to drive issues to resolution, which may
involve direct interaction with senior leadership within
LM and customer organizations
• Ability to resolve issues that are outside of the
individual's training or background
• Knowledge of JSF Program policies & processes
• Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a
willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a
variety of different functional organizations
