Test Coordinator

The Challenge:

How do we know if systems we deploy to warfighters in the desert will work in the intense dry heat? How can we be sure equipment we design can actually be used by a day-to-day user without an engineering background? When you build some of the most mission critical systems in the world, you can’t leave anything to chance. That’s why we need you – a test engineer who understands the operational environment and how to make sure our systems will solve real problems in the real world.

As a test engineer on our team, you’ll help your client understand the functionality and performance of military weapons systems beyond a simple pass/fail, you’ll lead a team as they create an evaluation that uses statistical data to design the most efficient and effective test. Your team’s ability to test a full range of functions in operationally representative scenarios will ensure warfighters can rely on their communications equipment. Once testing is complete, your team will provide a test report with recommendations that reflect a real-world understanding of the system’s capabilities and limitations. You Have:

-15 years of experience with Army test and evaluation as a member of the Military or as a DoD Civilian or DoD Contractor

-Experience with test and evaluation

-Experience with identifying projects requiring T&E, Safety Confirmations, or other appropriate tests IAW the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC)

-Ability to analyze projects to determine the level of test support required to equip materiel solutions to DoD organizations

-Ability to identify and apprise project officers of any testing delays or deviations to test costs, test schedule, or delivery of documentation or equipment after testing

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience in working at the Army brigade or higher levels with officers and non-commissioned officers

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
