Supply Chain’s vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.

This role will offer you the following daily

challenges:

• Act as a primary Subcontract interface and work

together with your Subcontract Management Team

members to support your program.

• Act as the lead interface between supplier and various LM organizations and departments.

• Expert level knowledge of LM Acquisition process - solicit RFP's, review supplier proposals, negotiate/administer contracts, and manage supplier performance.

• Develop subcontract specifications, statements

of work, and negotiate requirements

Basic Qualifications:

To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Experience directly related Government Procurements on high complexity, high dollar value subcontracts

• Strong knowledge of FAR and the various contract types

• Expert knowledge and experience with supplier

negotiations for complicated contracts

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving

skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple

tasks and changes in deadlines

• Excellent English communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases and supplier performance to all levels of peers, suppliers, program and executive management

Desired Skills:

To be successful, ideally, you should also have:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Expert background in Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures for high value "cost reimbursable" type subcontracts

• Expert knowledge of NASA and FAR flowdowns,

with proven ability to manage multiple subcontracts across multiple programs

• Proven experience in improving department training and helping leadership develop team members through mentoring, peer reviews, ad-hoc reviews.

• Expert experience in preparing for and responding to Regulatory Compliance audits

• Expert knowledge of new business proposal activities
