Title: OFP Electrical Manufacturing Engineer - 41522

Your Responsibilities

As an OFP Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, for the Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will provide support and advanced trouble shooting for Product Electrical system and Electrical Testing issues within current operations. In addition, you will:

  • Investigate, gather and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring Electrical issues

  • Support routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs

  • Work with software tools to perform engineering functions

  • Provide support of Manufacturing Execution Systems and act as an advanced expert user

  • Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas

  • Participate in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency

  • Implement new Electrical Manufacturing processes and technology

What Skills You Need

  • Experience in electrical testing / software support

  • Ability to understand electrical schematic drawings and diagrams and relate to test stand programming and equipment requirements

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of electrical circuits (Voltage/Current) and experience working with electrical measurement tools

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with product testing sytems - JDTester, ECOS, test stands, etc.

  • Experience with SQL databases - Access or SQLServer

  • Knowledge of combine production (Electrical Systems/Functions)

  • Knowledge of standard quality tools such as PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics

  • Experience with Deere Production System and Lean Manufacturing

  • SAP & C-projects experience

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
