Humana Account Management Professional 2 in Dover, Delaware
The Account Management Professional 2 is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Account Management Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Account Management Professional 2 oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements. Develops and oversees customer retention campaigns. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Prior account management experience
Valid state health and life insurance licenses (or able to acquire within 60 days of hire)
Effective group presentation skills
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Able to travel overnight 20% of the time
