RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Duties: Vice Presidentwith Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, TX. Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining a consistent Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan asset management data platform to assist managers in their daily asset management duties and fulfill reporting requirements for loan asset managers and senior management in the USA, Europe and Asia. Ensure data consumption needs are standardized across various sources, and that a complete and accurate data lineage exists in accordance with data management best practices and standards. Coordinate and attend meetings with asset managers, third parties, technology managers and senior leadership across the regions to facilitate ongoing maintenance and development of the platform. Collaborate with Technology to bring efficiencies in business process through the appropriate adoption and integration of technological solutions / tools and corporate-wide solutions. Constantly marshalling and coordinating technology department and resources to help define, aggregate, store, process and create consistent reporting across the platforms. Work hand-in-hand with the technology department to determine the most efficient data input methods (manual vs. automated), efficient architecture and storage platforms, data definitions and table creation. Coordinate the development and design of rules engines to validate, clean and assure data quality. Work with the technology department and asset managers to determine the most efficient reporting platforms to utilize, including but not limited to: MS Excel, Tableau, MS Access and Dash application. Assist in the creation of numerous detailed Operational Reporting solutions and Executive Dashboards highlighting existing exposure, outstanding balances, rate of return, cash flow, and loan performance. Continually maintain and enhance current reports as well as explore new reporting packages. Work with asset managers to develop, maintain and enhance pricing and valuation models.
Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related loan asset management position. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Originating, underwriting and managing performing and non-performing Commercial Real Estate loans, including managing assets, underwriting deals, creating business plans, and analyzing loan documents to create an optimal data management and reporting process; Demonstrating business experience in U.S., Asia and Europe to understand business customs, regulations and data needs; Demonstrating understanding of legal documents regarding value discounted loans, loan originations and underwriting; and Creating detailed pricing models for performing and non-performing small loan portfolios. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Using Tableau, MS Access, and MS Excel to develop dashboards and customized reports, connect multiple data sources in order to create appropriate data sets, and set data sources.
