Humana MarketPoint Sales Director--NE Texas in Dallas, Texas

Description

The Director, MarketPoint Sales requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment along with experience in leadership and life and health sales.

Responsibilities

The Marketpoint Sales Director will lead a team of Licensed Medicare Sales Agents in the NE Texas market, providing value-based leadership, strategic and tactical guidance, and performance direction to ensure all sales and retention goals are met or exceeded.

  • Develop strategic sales/marketing plan which will assist in maintaining and increasing membership.

  • Conduct, attend, and manage local and sales operations meeting(s) in order to provide sales development, teamwork, market strategies, training, etc.

  • Monitor sales results, trends and overall performance to hold sales agents accountable for achieving identified targets.

  • Build strategic relationships with distribution partners and agencies to ensure successful business outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Valid State Health and Life insurance licenses

  • Experience selling or working with Medicare Advantage products

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field or equivalent business experience

  • 8+ years of technical and/or sales and 5+ years of management experience

  • 3-5 years experience in a sales management position in the health solutions industry

  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Additional Information

Must reside in or be open to relocation to the NE Texas area (Houston/DFW)
