POSITION SUMMARY

Join this team to create innovative solutions to support / implement training across the enterprise for the new clinical platform, MedCompass!

Fundamental Components:

Conduct training sessions covering specific areas related to the new clinical platform. Build and administer a universal training curriculum and employ technologies to ensure achievement of the Companys long term goals, enhance training development, efficiencies, standardization and reduce training costs as often as possible. Develop teaching aids such as facilitator guides, demonstration models and data entry sheets, multimedia visual aids, technology based training, and other documents as needed.

Conduct employee training sessions for both new and current employees migrating to the new clinical platform.

Conduct comprehensive training needs assessment during each migration schedule to ensure all employees receive just in time training

Prepare post training materials including attendance reports, pre & post work score results, training satisfaction surveys, knowledge retention reports

Organize and deliver training material to specific departments including cross functionality delivery of training courses to support business needs

Participate in key business meetings to determine training needs for several business departments

Participate in planning sessions across several lines of business, acting as a subject matter expert for CH&S Learning & Performance

General Learning Consultant fundamental co include:

Consult with departmental leads to determine the targeted audience, expectations and gaps. Use formal instructional design methodology to design and develop enterprise-wide, performance-based training and educational tools. Communicates regularly with Learning & Performance training delivery staff to manage the rollout of training materials and gather feedback on program effectiveness. Effectively manage curriculum, reporting and other relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna Learning Center. Develop and conducts follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness of training programs. Incorporate feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products. Work in partnership as appropriate with external vendors to deliver state-of-the-art, technology-based training tools and programs that meet the needs of multiple, diverse audiences.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.

  • 5-7 years experience in a corporate training or related function.

  • Previous experience in Case Management and/or Utilization Management a must.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills

  • Advanced skill level with MS Office Suite Programs

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
