The Treasury Product Simplification and Credit Product Control Manger (CM) is responsible for managing fundamental and complex business control requirements associated with the Treasury and Credit product sets within the Commercial Bank. The CM continuously evaluates operating risk and business controls to help the Commercial Bank product organization achieve its mission and strategic objectives. The Business Operations group acts as a central point of contact working closely with Commercial Banking partners (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Risk, the product factories, Operations, Technology) on processes to ensure appropriate product controls are in place and are consistent when executing deliverables that have Banker, Product and Client impacts. This role focuses specifically on Treasury product simplification and credit products, exclusive of specialty products such as Asset Based Lending and Equipment Finance.

Core Functional Responsibilities

  • Actas the conduit from the Business Operations group and the various controlfunctional partners (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Regulatory PMO), to execute controlrelated deliverables specific to Treasury product simplification and creditproducts

  • Partnerand collaborate with Risk and Operations to create a comprehensive end-to-end productcontrol environment

  • Developand manage a cross line of business risk and control governance framework forproduct simplification

  • Identifyand lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the client experiencewithin a controlled environment

  • Identify KPIs and KRIs toeffectively manage operational risk within the CORE framework

  • Conductdiscovery and readiness meetings and complete project documents to ensureenhancements that support the program are clearly defined

  • Liaiseextensively with Bankers and non-Banker professional staff to communicate andarticulate processes, procedures and requirements

  • Presentprogress and results of control efforts with senior management and otherrelevant stakeholders

  • Responsiblefor coordination and preparation associated with audit activities, includingself- identification of potential concerns

  • Provideon-going assessment of information gathered, to evaluate the strength of the establishedprocedures and controls

  • Developstrong relationships with business partners, leading impact/resultsdiscussions, and proactively identifying information needs within the businesseswill be essential in this position
