Commercial Banking (CB) delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and seamless global capabilities to over 30,000 clients—including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, real estate investors and owners, and not-for-profit organizations—with annual revenue generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI) business within CB focuses on companies typically with revenues of over $500mm which require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products. The Client Engagement & Events Vice President will support the engagement strategy to drive events and initiatives to help further client relationships across several regions and industries.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Engage with bankers, treasuryservices, and other key business partners to develop marketing and eventsstrategy for various regions and industries within CCBSI

  • Partner closely withcolleagues across the Commercial Bank, Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB)and the Private Bank (PB) in order to align on plans with target opportunities

  • Plan and execute events of various scale endto end with responsibility for engaging top targets, managing and trackingRSVPs, sourcing agendas, identifying event speakers and coordinatingonsite logistics

  • Help identify key performance indicators, andmeasure and report on the effectiveness of executed plans

  • Assist in various ad hocprojects in support of prospect/client engagement in order to supportneeds of the business

  • Across all responsibilities

  • Identifyareas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies bygenerating innovative ideas and solutions

  • Preparematerials to be shared internally and/or externally with clients, management,business groups and other relevant stakeholders

Key SkillsRequired:

  • Execution and organizationalskills – Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple tasks andpriorities. Ability to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changingbusiness needs and urgent requests. Explore innovative ways to performtasks in an efficient and timely manner. Able to collaborate with individualsacross various LOBs to achieve goals, while proactively looking foropportunities to continue building strong internal relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-8 years of relevantexperience

  • Investment/Commercial bankingor management consulting experience preferred

  • Events, business managementand/or project management experience preferred

  • Expertise in Excel andPowerPoint (PitchPro)

  • BA/BS degree is required

  • Requires some travel
