CVS Health Analyst, Minute Clinic Quality & Training in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Job Description

We are looking for passionate, driven person who wants to join a high energy and growing team that will make a difference in process improvement and productivity through performing analytics and audits within the Revenue Cycle Operations area of CVS MinuteClinic.

The Analyst, Minute Clinic Quality & Training position within the Minute Clinic Revenue Cycle Operations department. This individual will support auditing and analyzing Accounts Receivable & Billing functions and work with our internal customers along with other job duties as required. This Consultant will need to identify the best approaches and strategies for ensuring the accuracy of various aspects of revenue cycle operations and could be requested to discuss test results with senior leadership across multiple lines of business.

This Consultant will work as team Member to support revenue cycle operations management team, which will include running queries, claims and analyzing testing defects either within the revenue cycle operations department or with our Internal and External Customers. This individual will be required to identify areas of process improvement and will need to successfully engage internal business partners and leaders as needed; to resolve issues, drive results and meet project target dates as required by management.

Required Qualifications

4 or more years of medical billing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of medical billing, including national, local and government payer contracts, with experience in claims denial management for a national provider

• Working CMS 1500 and electronic equivalent claim formatting knowledge

• Ability to demonstrate effective and positive leadership skills to develop and mentor a team

• Prior experience with medical billing systems (i.e. Athena or Epic), ability to identify gaps in current technology and lead the implementation of new solutions/functionality

• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization

• Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment that values collaboration, integrity and accountability

• Knowledge and experience with professional billing

• Ability to research, analyze and interpret CMS rules and regulations, Commercial Plan Local Coverage determinations, and other internal

Education

High school diploma/GED required.
