Business Process Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Materials Management functions. Strong understanding of card development, card manufacturing and personalization technologies, and industry standards and practices are required. Candidate must have proven ability to work within a team environment, multi-task, develop and build partnering business relationships and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple 3rd Party Vendor relationships including TSYS, CPI and G&D

  • Continually reviewing Audit, Compliance and Association (Visa & MC) requirements

  • Responsible for departmental policies and procedures

  • Incorporate CTO Practices and Protocol including Continuous Improvement methodologies

  • Extensive knowledge of Bank and TSYS operations

  • Achieve high levels of employee satisfaction

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Ensure Controls are effective, maintained and monitored

  • Close interaction with Marketing and Card Production Center personnel to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the inventory management activities and budget of materials management organization for Commercial Card and TSYS

  • Confer with other department management and staff to coordinate materials management activities

  • Direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures related to materials management operations

  • Develop and implement profit improvement plans and change management plans

  • Perform managerial functions, such as preparing proposals, budgets, analyzing component costs, manage vendor invoicing, performance/penalty adjustments, and charge backs where appropriate

  • Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork for sourcing and contract management

  • Remain current with the latest materials management and material handling tools, technology and procedures

  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners, help to establish common goals between stakeholders-driving communication from both sides, and maintaining the relationships over time

  • Daily management of multiple Commercial Card and TSS card products

  • Translates business, technical and RFP requirements to identify, evaluate and select the right vendor partner to support business need

  • Identify opportunities with current supplier relationships that align with current Materials Management organization where they do not exist to create efficiencies in processes and procedures. IE: EMV and DI Migration & International Personalization management


  • Bachelors Degree with 5 to 8 years of work experience preferred

  • Understanding of the Card business preferred

  • Solid knowledge of materials management – paper and plastic components

  • Knowledge of various credit card types: magnetic stripe, contact, contactless, EMV, PVC, embedded metal and full metal construction

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships

  • Outstanding problem solving skills and ability to apply appropriate tools and level of analysis to specific situations

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical in nature

  • Sound financial management

  • Ability to deal with confrontational situations in a positive manner

  • Highly motivated individual with willingness to take initiative

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle e-Business Suite tools
