As a UX/CX Design Engineer you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaboratewith a team comprised of Business Architects, Client Leads,Process Designers and business partners to design and drive theideal end-to-end client experience
Work with Product Managers to integrate and prioritize requirements into Product roadmap
Understand and engage with clients on comprehensive set of topics, including strategy, roadmaps, and journey performance
Setup customer research and user testing (e.g., customer and staff panels, personas, analytics)
The Enterprise Compute Services (ECS) organization within GTI plays a critical role in providing and supporting global enterprise systems that host business applications at the core of JPMorgan Chase’s business. These applications support the full range of businesses at the firm including wholesale, high volume consumer, and high net worth clients. As a Senior Application Developer, you will design, develop, code, test, debug and document Managed File Transfer applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. You will also provide comprehensive technical expertise to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. You will work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Additionally, you will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience gathering and transforming customer experience
Demonstrated UX/CX Design experience - with a record of building great products
5-7 years’ experience in developing enterprise application user interfaces
5-7 years’ experience in core Java 1.6 or 1.7 and J2EE, Hibernate, Spring frameworks
Hands-on experience indeveloping multi-tier web applications using Java, J2EE, MVC, JDBC,Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XML
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: Python, Perl, Shell
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
