As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will have the following duties:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact to the business product owner to elicit requirements

  • Act as a liaison between the lines of business and the development team

  • Analyze Business Requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how our applications can best functionally fulfill those needs

  • Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to develop story cards and acceptance criteria

  • Work with the development tech lead to identify technical story cards required to support desired functionality

  • Support the agile team in requirement clarifications

  • Responsible for assigning and reviewing work and mentoring less experienced BA team members

  • 7+ years of experience in a business analyst role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience working within an agile team

  • Experience with Agile tools and technologies (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills with a structured approach

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to think globally
