JPMorgan Chase Commercial Card Marketing Communications Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Commercial Card (CC) is rapidly growing due to constant product and solution innovation and a strong customer-focused, value proposition. The CC Marketing and Communications team plays a critical role in driving that growth by delivering best-in-class solutions that bring the Commercial Card value story to life through our clients’ eyes.

As a core member of the CC Marketing & Communications team, this individual will help develop and deliver strategic internal and external communications. Specifically, this position supports the Change Readiness group – the primary source of information for employees, functional partners and clients impacted by product, service and/or procedure changes. The associate will play an integral role partnering and collaborating across the lines of business to ensure change readiness communication strategies and tactics align to the business priorities, operating plan and product roadmaps. The associate will also work with cross-functional partners inside and outside of the Commercial Card team to ensure clients are receiving clear, consistent communications that enhance their experience with the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

· Establish collaborative relationships with key partners across the division (product, sales, technology, etc.) and provide counsel and communication recommendations

· Manage change communication initiatives triggered by involuntary product, service or procedural changes, focusing on communications planning and execution.

· Write, edit and produce a variety of targeted communications for internal audiences (sales and relationship managers, client services and onboarding teams, etc.) and external audiences (card program administrators and cardholders).

· Collaborate with internal partners on content creation (fellow copy writers, designers, campaign managers, content teams).

· Track and report progress on strategies and deliver against deadlines.

· Liaise with the various functional areas of the Commercial Card Marketing team to ensure projects are aligned to overall strategy and business needs and compliment ongoing campaigns where possible.

· Active engagement in various communication forums within the firm

· Staying current and providing guidance on emerging communication methods, patterns, techniques and technologies/tools

· Become versed in brand standards and customer segments (needs, motivations, challenges, voice).

· Ensure content adheres to control, audit, legal and compliance requirements.

· Consult with internal partners on best practices and standards.

This role reports directly to the Commercial Card Change Readiness Manager and is uniquely positioned with exposure across lines of business (Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Investment Banking, Treasury Services, Merchant Services and Card Services).

Skills and Qualifications:

· 3-5+ years of strategic marketing communications and/or content writing experience

· Proven end-to-end marketing project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to clearly and concisely report progress, dependencies and deliver against aggressive deadlines

· Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to effectively work across a large, matrix organization and influence outcomes

· Possess a strong control mindset and understanding of internal processes, procedures and systems linked to content development.

· Have a customer obsessed mindset to ensure exceptional customer experience and delivery. Can explain complex financial concepts in a compelling, easy to understand way.

· Ability to master new situations and complex subject matters quickly

· Ability to work independently as a self-starter

· Must be flexible and able to re-prioritize depending on business needs

· Excellent listening, probing, communication skills and attention to detail

· Superior speaking skills and the ability to present ideas in a concise manner

· Must be a team player and work well cross-functionally

· Keen eye for editing, proofing and catching grammatical errors

· Able to gather, interpret and incorporate feedback from a large group of stakeholders

· Expertise with Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field

· Experience writing toward an internal and/or external B2B audience

· Experience in E-mail Marketing best-practices

· Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style

Familiarity with SharePoint and e-mail distribution or marketing automation systems
