The Commercial Banking (CB) Business Continuity group is responsible for continuous improvement of CB business resiliency functions inclusive of business and technology business recovery strategies, production monitoring, crisis management and communications and development of workforce and infrastructure planning.

The CB Business Continuity team is seeking a highly experienced, process-minded professional with outstanding business sense who is able to lead cross-function teams in the execution of transformational initiatives. As a Senior Project Manager, you will drive medium and large scale projects.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-organizational or cross-LOB projects to deliver significant business results

  • Deliver enhanced processes and tools to maximize benefits, efficiency, simplification and overall improvement to business continuity strategies and functions

  • Engage the right individuals and groups to drive participation and group consensus

  • Escalate and own issues and proposed solutions and keep key stakeholder informed of project status

  • Integrate effective change management and training techniques to drive end user adoption

  • Design and lead team to execute readiness plans inclusive of all impacted groups and functions

  • Communicate effectively with senior management via multiple channels

  • Resolve conflict and gaps through expert collaboration and broad decision-making

  • Able to manage, influence, and motivate upward and downward


  • BA/BS degree

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience (program management, change management, project management)

  • Independent self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment

  • Critical thinking ability; can understand all the information available, tie it all together and speak to it clearly and concisely

  • Established track record of delivery in a complex environment

  • Ability to partner across functional teams and interact with all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Proven work experience influencing others (change management) to initiate a recommended course of action to solve a problem or increase efficiency.

  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, if possible Corporate/Commercial Banking

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Agile certification
