Bank of America Technical Applications Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Participate in projects involving line of business, application teams and vendors to determine requirements and develop functional designs based on line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Work under minimal supervision on enterprise wide initiatives requiring creative solutions. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience

REQUIRED:

• Proven experience with data analytics and/or thematic analytics

• Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences

• Minimum of 2 years working experience using Tableau analytical software and SQL development

• Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) practices

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Strong presentation creation and delivery skills

• Proven ability to create and foster relationships across all levels of the organization

DESIRED:

• Knowledge of incident/problem management processes

• Knowledge of bank applications including ITSM/Remedy

• Strong business acumen, understanding of Bank of America specific processes, locations, products and services
