Job Description:

Enterprise Overview: Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s), including research. Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment. Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities. Provides work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and provides training to associates and Business Partners on new and complex initiatives. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 5-7 years of experience.

LOB Job Description: Responsible for data entry and processing related to all insurance correspondence in an accurate and timely manner for a high volume production department. Must accurately apply procedural knowledge and guidelines for appropriate handling of documents. Process all insurance related correspondence including necessary research and contact with customers and/or carriers, and provide documentation to support actions taken. Various administrative duties. Must have the ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracy. Must be customer oriented with effective comprehension, listening, verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work well in a high volume production environment and meet established goals. Must have the ability to work well with others and follow directions.

Required Skills:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the Commercial insurance industry/business acquired through working in an agency or company. Commercial Leasing or Asset Lending experience preferred.

  • Experience with large equipment leasing

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Detail oriented

  • Highly organized

  • Persistent when working on a difficult or complex problem

  • Analytical – able to learn a complex pattern and then identify inconsistencies

  • Willing to ask questions

  • Self-starter- Ability to learn on the job and research issues and questions

  • Ability to recognize and revaluate significance of coverage complexities

  • Able to work well with others

  • Able to communicate confidently and professionally (written and oral) with peers, management, customers, and third parties

  • Good time management

  • Able to consistently process volume with precision

  • Able to utilize multiple computer systems simultaneously to access data

  • Requires flexibility outside of normal business hours, to support international clientele

  • Advanced Excel Skills

  • Advanced computer literacy

  • Demonstrates continuing insurance education through course work toward CPCU, CIC, Risk Management, etc
