Bank of America Sr Data Technology Analyst - Enterprise Data Management in Charlotte, North Carolina
Bank of America has an obligation to safeguard critical information in order to protect the bank’s legal and regulatory position. A key function in support of this obligation is the ability to preserve information that may be on hold. Additionally, regulatory requirements related to personally identifiable information (e.g., EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) add complexity to how hold requirements are managed. EDMG is accountable for managing these hold requirements as related to the destruction of critical information at the bank. Functions may include: documenting and managing hold requirements, process design and oversight for managing hold requirements, managing routines with key legal and compliance partners, and coordination of responses to dispsotion or individual rights requests related to personally identifiable information. Requires a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, and procedures.
Required Job Skills:
Experience with Project Management tools and process design
Legal / eDiscovery operations experience
Exposure to data management concepts including data lineage
3 + years of project management support experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Strong negotiation skills
Organized and detail oriented
Proven history of being a team player
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain quality goals and meet aggressive delivery deadlines
Strong communication (written and verbal)
Comfortable engaging with team members including Legal and Compliance
