Verizon Real Estate Regulatory Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina

What you’ll be doing...

  • Perform project management activities - Maintain internal databases, trackers, and facilitate area wide project call.

  • Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the use of creativity and makes decisions that impact projects and region.

  • Work with legal to review and amend agreements.

  • Interpret and understand VZW policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to third party vendors and internal network teams.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve real estate and lease-related issues as needed to meet internal or external deadlines and reporting requirements.

  • Review proposed agreements and work with legal and management to interpret and evaluate agreements.

  • Provide guidance and feedback to network leadership regarding Master Agreements.

  • Negotiate and work with all types of Landlords and their agents, and vendors in order to preserve the Company’s rights and meet the Company’s contractual and regulatory obligations.

  • Collaborate with HQ RE/Regulatory in the negotiation of national agreements.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • A valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Real Estate, or related discipline.

  • Four or more years of Real Estate experience to include lease negotiation, lease review, environmental due diligence, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, and title work.

  • Four or more years of contracts experience including knowledge of legal and financial terms and the ability to read and interpret contracts.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, meet goals/deadlines, and manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate accuracy with high attention to details.

  • Written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Existing & Emerging Technologies.

  • Knowledge in RE and Regulatory.

  • Knowledge of zoning, permitting and FCC regulations.
