Job Description:

This role is responsible for the Data Analytics Platform portfolio management and program office working closely with our customers and client services team. Responsible for establishing outstanding operating performance processes to ensure financial recoveries are accurate, funding and workforce are justified based on our strategic roadmap and portfolio management is regularly updated as our vendors change. Minimize vendor cost via usage strategy and simplifying contracts by rewriting specialty contracts based on usage in favor of enterprise contracts working closely with the Data Strategy team to ensure we leverage strategic vendors on our long term goals.

Deliver platform level program management strategy roadmaps and platform plans presentations / documentation working closely and in an agile style with the platform release team and product managers. Platform portfolio management includes plans for the support of the next generation Hadoop platform, continue deployment from the SDM pipeline, data movement/ETL, Data Lake, and monitoring tools. Responsible for presentations, documentation, and communications of the Data Analytics Platform portfolio, strategy, and end to end plans including financial views. Partner with Data Analytics Platform Architecture leaders, senior business leaders across the company, and the SDM leaders to form and shape our technology and vendor strategy. Prioritize portfolio management to achieve Cloudera best practices and embrace automation of Data extraction/versioning to create predictable workloads.

The key success criteria for this leader is to manage the Data Analytics Platform portfolio based on our client pipeline on board plans and technical strategy road maps. This role will be measured via customer satisfaction, financial accuracy on recoveries, and progress towards clarity on platform strategic plans and end to end project plans. Leader most strive to minimize touch points across the data platform portfolio management processes.

Required Skills:

  • Three years of experience working in complex organizations and performing portfolio management.

  • Good Program Manager and Organizational skills

  • Understanding of BAC policies related to Data management, lifecycle, and quality

  • Knowledgeable and experience on BAC Financial policies

  • Two years of experience doing Financial Management and BAC service recoveries

  • Prior experience of at least 2 years doing Vendor Management and contracts

  • Good understanding of Data Analytics Platforms tools like Hadoop, data wrangling, and data classification

  • Value and passion for customer satisfaction with three years of experience managing complex customer requirements

  • Experience creating high quality executive level presentations

  • Expert on power point, Tableau, SharePoint or other visual tools for data reporting

  • Expert minimizing manual processes and redesigning process using agile mythology

  • Experience measuring customer approval via surveys or other processes for proper tracking of customer satisfaction

  • Understanding Hadoop & HDFS technology principles

  • Familiar with Dev/Ops and CI/CD Pipeline

  • Experience transforming teams to adopt to Agile methodology

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
