Bank of America Monitoring Analyst - Initiative Planning Tools and Delivery in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience. May manage staff.

Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Initiatives and Resiliency COO team is seeking an analyst in support of the enterprise initiative planning process. This candidate would have strong data collection, data analysis and reporting skills. This role will include data collection and aggregation, developing and supporting key schedules, analysis and metrics related to the initiative planning process that will drive behavior and outcomes in support of business objectives. Report development for senior leadership will also be a key function of this role. This role will also include business partnering skills internal and external to the team. Generally requires 5+ years of experience

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree

  • Strong analytical skills.Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysisExperience with data miningExperience with Business Intelligence/data visualization tools(Tableau, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management.

  • Experience with business, functional and nonfunctional requirements.

  • Ability to work with various business unites

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Advanced skills in Excel(macros, pivot tables, v-lookup)Additional skills: Strong GT&O acumenBeing able to work in a fast paced environment as new data flows rapidly
