Bank of America FAM Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina
Performs financial and business analysis, and prepares supporting documentation for client credit approval. Supports the origination, underwriting and portfolio management process. Responsibilities include the timely delivery of technically accurate spread analysis and risk rating development using in-depth analysis of personal financial statements and personal tax returns for loan monitoring activity and credit approval. Furthermore, commercial spread analysis and risk rating development. Responsible for preparing interim and annual reviews using proven writing skills. Knowledge of the end to end credit process. Responsible for monitoring and managing the credit quality and data integrity of assigned GWIM credit relationships to facilitate a sound credit portfolio. Strong leadership and teamwork with underwriting teams and other associates is essential. Provides direction and coaching to Underwriting, Loan Monitoring, and other Financial Analysis and Monitoring associates. May be asked to provide additional credit support to underwriting teams as requested. Candidate must be well organized and be able to work independently, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics is preferred
2 to 3 years of Commercial or Private Banking credit underwriting/analysis experience preferred
Prefer formal credit training with major US Bank
Strong technical skills, including accounting and quantitative modeling
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and analytical skills
Strong combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, and strategic and creative thinking
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results
Leadership, initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Time Management and Organization
Dedication to building a career in financial services
Requires PC proficiency including Excel, Word, Outlook and other applications. Preferred knowledge of Global Monitoring System (GMS) and Global Underwriting System (GUS), and other GWIM Banking systems
