Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Staff / Camden, AR in Camden, Arkansas
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a position in Camden, AR to support the production engineering team. Candidate will be required to support GMLRS Production Operations as a manufacturing engineer. The employee in this role will be responsible for process development, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. The employee will create and maintain work instructions, assist with root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. The employee will also assist with operator training, tooling design, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives. The employee will be involved in a number of different manufacturing processes ranging from mechanical assembly to coating applications. This will include understanding and interpretation of technical blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

The Locale: Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two-hour drive south from Little Rock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. Desired Skills: Knowledgeable of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
Experience with SAP or SAP/ERP Routings, specifically MRO.
Experience writing Routings or Shop Orders.
Knowledge of CNC and conventional machining and machine shop theory.
Experience with CAD/CAM software packages such as, Creo (Pro-E), Mastercam, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Etc.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or in a related discipline.
Candidate should have a good understanding and demonstrated application of technical and problem-solving skills in manufacturing and production.
The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
Ability to inspect hardware with basic Standard Measuring Instruments (SMI) such as dial indicators, height gages, calipers, micrometers, surface plates, etc.
Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).
Competent with Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
Experienced at a senior level in Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance.
