JPMorgan Chase Business Analyst - Client Integration Lead in Brooklyn, New York
The aim of the role is to build alignment between the client's and Investor Services’ (IS) technology to ensure that all technology deliverables and new business onboarding are managed successfully. The role traverses the following:
Oversight of the technology onboarding for a complex client relationship – this includes the following business Products: Custody, Fund Accounting, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Trust & Fiduciary and Middle Office Services.
Management of the Instruction Capture across business products for a complex client onboarding, ensuring that this is in accordance with the strategic direction.
Management of the Data Delivery across business Products in accordance with client requirements and with strategic programs of work.
Managing testing of instruction capture and reporting with the client.
Setting up connectivity and testing the same with the client and their associated parties.
Engagement in the client testing requirements and ensuring that technology can deliver against these.
The Client Technology Management (CTM) group is focused on providing dedicated, client technology guidance and support as part of the end-to-end sales cycle; from pre-sales to due diligence, through to client on-boarding and on-going client support. CTM works closely with our Sales and Risk Management, Client Services, Operations, Product and Risk Management teams to ensure that the technical components of our clients are understood and executed flawlessly across IS.
The specific responsibilities for this opening are:
i) Onboarding of complex clientrelationships
These typically involve Middle Office clients who have numerous complex reporting deliverables. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of technology for new complex client onboarding. This covers project delivery, client connectivity, interfacing and consulting to gather and deliver against the client requirements whilst maintaining complicity with the Investor Services Strategic technology agenda. Responsibilities include consolidating all in-flight technology activity and deliverables into a cohesive standard senior management update for senior Technology and Application Development leads.
In addition, the candidate will be required to take responsibility for the following on an adhoc/needs basis:
i) Onboarding of BAU client relationships
These are typically more standard client onboarding projects which fit with our more ‘vanilla’ technology offerings. The candidate would be required to scope the client technology requirements and deliver the connectivity solutions. Where bespoke client requirements warrant technology builds, the candidate would be required to raise the client requirements to the correct Product Development / Application Development team and ensure that they are delivered.
ii) BAU CTM Client Change Management – Provide guidance to our internal client base (Product, Client Service, Relationship Management and Operations) regarding the appropriate means for submitting change requests. The majority of the change requests are to implement new interfacing channels via sFTP. CTM manage these via JPMorgan’s GTI FTS utility. Change Management also includes requests for SWIFT testing for external clients, either implementing new solutions client side, introducing automation for manual processes or as part of an onboarding activity. CTM resources will own the test planning , oversight and ensure timely completion of providing client feedback re formatting and obtain operational sign off prior to Go Live.
The candidate will be working in a team environment where flexibility and creativity are key. Our clients are constantly pushing the boundaries with their technology requirements. Based on client experience and interaction, the candidate will be expected to identify technology areas for improvement, to help improve client delivery and help drive these through with senior technology management.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate an aptitude in the sales arena and from time to time participate in Sales meetings with prospective clients and represent IS Technology.
Knowledge of CFS Technology systems and applications
Good working knowledge of the business processes surround Custody and Fund Services
Working knowledge of CFS technology architecture and roadmap would be an advantage
Knowledge of Blackrock would be an advantage
