Bank of America Lead Operations Representative in Brea, California

Job Description:

Individual contributor role that demonstrates leadership qualities as Insurance Coordinator within Centralized Operation Support. Responsible for multiple functions during mortgage origination process. Responsibilities may include: ensuring client delight met by reviewing and processing transactions for item processing providing critical support to our sales (Mortgage Loan Officers) and fulfillment partners (processors, underwriters, etc). Lead Operations Representative (LOR) is responsible for ordering evidence of homeowners insurance, validating that it meets bank guidelines, requests any changes that would be necessary to meet bank requirements. Hazard LORs are responsible for managing a mortgage pipeline that can fluctuate based on current business environment. Job requires candidates to take a Role Based Condition Authority (RBCA) assessment and secure a RBCA certification upon completion of the training. Without RBCA, candidates will not be able to complete their job function.

Required skills:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in mortgage loan production environment; or equivalent work experience

Desired skills:

  • Strong pipeline management experience

  • Self-directed with ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment

  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline intensive environment

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Quick learner

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Critical thinking

  • Flexible for OT

  • Ability to adopt quickly to change

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
