Description

Our Boston based Fund Services Product team seeks an experienced Product Manager. Reporting directly into location head, the candidate will be responsible for the following functionality:

  • Continuouslymonitor and track new business opportunities, including RFP responses,commercial pricing, contract negotiation, and post-implementation reviewto ensure that all requirements have been completed and that the processis managed appropriately.

  • Subject matter expertise within the Fund Accounting and FundAdministration product offerings, supporting Asset Manager and Asset Ownerclients

  • Set product strategy and roadmap, including new productofferings and technology development

  • Responsible for profitability of the Fund Services business,and oversight of operational expenses

  • Maintain active presence within industry by attendingconferences, whitepapers, panels, etc…

  • Directly liaise with key clients and internal stakeholders toensure best in class service delivery by entire team

  • Responsiblefor contract review, including issue identification, non-standard terms,and remediation.

  • Maintain oversight of key vendor relationships

  • Maintain allnecessary documentation when preparing and reviewing deals and contracts.

  • Work across business stakeholder solicit and refinerequirements and document acceptance criteria, and serve as an overallexpert on the new business process.

  • Serve as escalation point for issues and the conduit for Productrelated requests.

  • Create framework for billing oversight and governance.

  • Ensure that all new deal activities are appropriatelyreflected in the risk and controls self assessment and business controlforums.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of investment services or relevant experience

  • Bachelors degree required; J.D., M.B.A, or CPA. preferred

  • Significant knowledge of the securities industry andapplicable regulatory and operational requirements on both the custodialand fund accounting side

  • Strong presentation skills, including presentations to Boardsof Directors and senior stakeholders

  • Proven ability to multi-task and think critically. Must have the energy and drive to grow abusiness.

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written; excellent interpersonalskills

  • Ability to manage a high performing team

  • Team player with ability to be respected as a trusted partner withthe Business, Finance and Legal Teams.
