Project Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Provide analytical support for the analysis and monitoring of budgets. Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for small to relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Participate in budget preparation and authorize budget expenditures. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, or proposals. Interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements. Define parameters for estimate preparation. Provide work leadership to junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with professional-level cost estimating, cost analysis, life cycle estimating, and problem-solving

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities with varying due dates for deliverables

-Ability to identify, research, and solve financial problems

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or 9 years of experience with professional-level cost estimating, cost analysis, life cycle estimating, and problem-solving in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with progressive government contract financial management

-Experience with cost estimating or financial management for professional services in a DoD environment, including IDIQ professional services at task order level with multiple subcontractors

-Experience with applying formulas and functions to calculations and analysis in Excel

-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottom-up analysis and historical trends

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
