DevOps Engineer

Key Role:

Advise the aerospace client throughout the solution life cycle, from vision to production-ready systems. Learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Work with the development team to build end-to-end solutions using an agile approach and various languages. Analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment and future functionality and enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with general system delivery

-1+ years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Chef, Docker, Puppet, or Jenkins

-Experience with Agile methodology and software development

-Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell, Bash, PHP, Python, Java, Node, or Ruby

-Experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP), including AWS and Azure

-Experience with Linux and UNIX administration

-Experience with SQL database and transactional SQL programming

-Ability to contribute to software development and maintenance activities and troubleshoot application and database issues

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using Selenium Webdriver, JBehave, or Serenity reporting

-Experience with software life cycle engineering, technical writing, systems administration, systems automation, performance engineering, or modeling and simulation

-Experience with SharePoint Designer

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent consulting skills

-BA or BS degree in CS preferred
