Vice President, Data Center Technology Operations Manager
As a Data Center Technology Operations Manager (Vice President), your mission is to manage the day-to-day 24x7 operations team supporting the data center environment. Duties include providing operational oversight to the technology engineers, resource management by ensuring proper shift coverage, enabling development and coaching for team resources. You will handle escalations from the operations team during your scheduled shift and act as the primary point of contact for operations related communications to other teams and senior leaders across the firm. This role is a shared responsibility with other operations managers that will provide coverage 24x7 to the Data Center environment.
Scheduled Hours: 6pm to 3am / Monday through Friday
If hired, there will be an initial onboarding/training period. During training, working hours will be standard daytime business (8am to 5pm / Monday through Friday) and may include travel to other data center locations.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Proven track record of leadership roles in 24x7 operational support teams
Possess interpersonal and relationship building skills
Being obsessed about our customers experience
Demonstrated time management and able to multi-task efficiently
Willing to be a leader and provide mentorship to others
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience supporting enterprise-class hardware deployments
Experience with physical layer infrastructure and testing tools
Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure (compute, network, storage)
Understanding of network concepts (switching, routing, perimeter security)
Familiarity with infrastructure applications (DNS, Active Directory, etc)
