Technical Briefing Coordinator

Key Role:

Provide onsite briefings support to clients in a DoD research and development (R&D) office. Apply deep technical knowledge in electronics, photonics, MEMS, and related fields to the creation of client briefings for a range of technical and non-technical audiences, including senior academic, commercial, and defense professionals. Inform investments into the future of the electronics and semiconductor industries by acquiring and leveraging a deep comprehension of the office’s technical portfolio. Provide independent assessments and assess ongoing research programs, given knowledge of current trends in the microelectronics industry. Provide weekly updates to the client regarding upcoming presentations, meetings, and office events.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with creating slides and electronic media, using the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

-3+ years of experience with document creation, coordination, and editing

-3+ years of experience with research and development projects, including coordination or progress tracking

-Experience in the semiconductor and microelectronics fields

-Experience with research and development agencies or organizations

-Ability to analyze, interpret, and translate technical ideas into widely comprehensible statements

-Ability to create accurate and well-written documents and presentations in a timely manner

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with providing analysis and support to defense research and development programs

-Experience with technical writing, editing, and product development

-Experience with supporting government executives

-Experience with operationally-relevant technology, preferably in microelectronics or a related field

-Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and a team orientation

-Ability to commit to on-time performance, attention to detail, and editing acumen

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent client service, technical writing, and presentation skills

-Secret clearance preferred

-MS degree or higher in a technical area, preferably in Microelectronics or a related field
