Lockheed Martin Global Vision Center, Customer Engagement Center Project Manager in Arlington, Virginia
The primary role of the GVC Customer Engagement Center Project Manager is to support and execute on the activities and tasks necessary to carry out the mission of the GVC, listed below.
The GVC is a customer engagement and collaboration facility designed to showcase the values and capabilities of Lockheed Martin, while enabling employees and customers to build and enhance customer relationships.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: - Project management for assigned GVC events and meetings. It is the role of the GVC Project Manager to partner with the respective event requestors or event hosts to ensure a successful event and exceptional world-class experience for the customer. Project Management responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, working with the GVC support teams to coordinating the event plan logistics (AV/IT requirements, security requirements, and facility requirements). Event planning requirements also include coordinating and conducting Global Vision Center tours and coordinating any required catering set ups. - Responsible for the facilities readiness of the GVC. This includes, but is not limited to working with facility manager and vendors as required to maintain exceptionally high level of GVC readiness, routine facility inspection to identify any areas of discrepancies as well as following through until discrepancies are resolved, working with GVC Operations team lead and other team Project Managers to ensure conference room readiness exceeds customer satisfaction, and project managing any facility upgrade projects or display installations.
Basic Qualifications • Proven ability to work on a team. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Prior experience interacting with and providing fantastic customer service to the executive population and VIP's. Ability to interface effectively with customers and executives. • Previous experience in a varied, fast-paced environment. • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications. • Well developed prioritization, organization and planning skills. • Ability to obtain a clearance
