F-35 Electronic Warfare System Engineer

Key Role:

Provide independent analysis through subject matter expertise in engineering to the F-35 Joint Program Office on Electronic Warfare (EW), reprogramming, and Digital Channelized Receiver or Technique Generator and Digital Tuner Insertion Program (DTIP) implementation. Provide expertise for EW mission effectiveness, including testing and contract specification verification, EW Radio Frequency Counter Measures (RFCM) and Infrared Counter Measures (IRCM) certification, Block 4 EW requirements, and contract language. Analyze the F-35 operational reprogramming, including specific mission effectiveness mission data loads. Provide analysis and methodologies for electronic attack or electronic protect flight and ground testing, including RFCM and IRCM, modeling of threat capabilities, testing of LO air vehicles against real and simulated threats, and seeker or fuze testing.

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience in an aviation systems or avionics engineering position

-5 years of experience with Electronic Warfare acquisition program support

-5 years of experience in support of DoD classified programs and DoD ACAT-II or larger acquisition program

-Experience with requirements management and tracking

-Experience with using Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

-Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, requirements development, and technology transition or insertion planning

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
