Technical Writer

Key Role:

Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for paper, multimedia, or Web-based publications. Maintain customer specifications files, review customer drawings and data, and translate customer language into standard procedures and product flow. Work on assignments that are semi-routine and recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Receive general supervision and instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new activities or special assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting high performing teams in a high ops tempo environment

-Experience with Amazon Web Services and US government Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)

-Knowledge of US government enterprise infrastructure, US government security standards, DevOps and Agile methodologies, and IT Service Management principles

-Ability to sustain system CONOPs, network diagrams, and knowledge management artifacts

-Ability to commute to Arlington, VA

-Top Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Java Web applications and Oracle databases.

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

-AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
