Information Assurance Specialist

Key Role:

Provide troubleshooting and engineering analyses to ensure the proper operation and performance of customer products and services. Apply advanced information assurance principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems, working under consultative direction. Speak for the organization to internal and external customers regularly. Provide advice to the organization in information assurance.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with information assurance

-Experience with system integration, system engineering, and system administration

-Experience with emerging Army or Military communications systems and technologies

-Experience with information assurance certification and accreditation processes, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, DoDI 8500.2, and NIST 800-53 and taking systems through Authority to Operate (ATO)

-Ability to be a team player and convey complex issues clearly to a targeted audience in simple, easily understood terms

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army preferred

-Experience with IT

-Knowledge of warfighter operations preferred

-Knowledge of computer networking

-Knowledge of systems engineering concepts

-BS degree in Information Systems, EE, or CS

-CISSP, CISM, or other IA Certification
