Abbot Downing strives to build long-standing relationships by helping clients preserve and grow wealth, address the impact of wealth across generations and leave a legacy of purpose.

The AD Service Operations Manager for the Southeast region is responsible for managing operations and/or administrative support units within Abbot Downing. The SOM provides administrative support to the RMD and other regional leaders in the management of the region and servicing of ultra-high net worth clients. This support includes meeting preparation, calendar management, travel arrangements, office and facilities management, onboarding new team members, invoice processing, technology requests, expense report management, equipment maintenance, supply and marketing materials management, and general administrative duties. The SOM will serve as a leader in the office and region who offers guidance to ensure operational efficiencies and address workflow issues. The SOM will also serve as the Brand Steward and lead on marketing events and sponsorships.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of operations experience, administration experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • Wealth management experience

  • High net worth client experience

  • Financial services experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

  • Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA)

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field
