Wells Fargo Business Systems Consultant 4 in West Des Moines, Iowa

The Enterprise Services & Tools team is seeking a technical business analyst for a position with the PMO Technology team. This team supports the TOG PMO applications, including PM Universal Workstation (PMUWS), CREST, and Microsoft Project Server. The person that fills this position will be a vital part of our application team participating in all aspects of our work (planning, execution and support).

This position will:

  • Act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems

  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements

  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes

  • Help prepare specifications for system changes, this may include documentation and mockups

  • May assist testing teams develop system test plan components and test scripts

  • May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies

  • May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff

The preferred work locations are Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN, but may be open to candidates in other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint. Preference may be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these locations with no relocation assistance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements

  • 2+ years of Agile experience
