Special Warfare Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Provide planning support across the full range of CT requirements associated with sensitive activity and special warfare. Facilitate and support the development and production of planning efforts related to sensitive activity and special warfare, including courses of action and concepts of operation development. Provide subject matter expertise and knowledge of national and DoD-related plans and provide strategic and operational linkages to concept development and implementation. Facilitate and coordinate the development of sensitive activity and special warfare talking points and written narratives for key leader engagements and participate in planning groups to provide military force special warfare and sensitive activity input towards planning efforts. Deliver the analytical rigor and draft proposals which allow the command to evaluate appropriate responses to DoD leadership. Coordinate with various partners to provide special warfare and sensitive activity subject matter expertise. Advise on executive-level updates to senior leaders and provide weekly input to talking points and executive summaries.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with operations and planning, with at least 5 years of experience in sensitive activity and special warfare as a former military officer

-5 years of experience with working in or with an interagency team environment and in military force strategic planning, intelligence methods, and program management that demonstrate knowledge of management and oversight of SA operations

-5 years of experience in SA policy, planning, coordination, and synchronization support to the Theater Command or GCC SA planning and operations

-5 years of experience in working with FO, GO, or SES level officials

-3 years of experience with the conduct of assessments and the quantifying of performance and effectiveness measures

-2 years of experience with comprehending DoD and USG IA plans, policies, and planning processes and subsequent development of operations, actions, and activities that operationalize campaign objectives

-2 years of experience in compartmentalized planning

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED
