Installation Access Control Systems Analyst

Key Role:Work with a government client and various DoD agencies, including host nation government agencies, to analyze a plan to implement the next generation of military Installation Access Control System (IACS), referred to as the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) to warfighters. Assist the client with analyzing and planning projects to perform vulnerability and threat assessments, define and verify DBIDS security requirements, and analyze plans for DBIDS implementation, sustainment, and operational concepts. Comprehend and apply DoD security policies and standards to ensure DBIDS installation, training, and execution are incorporated into current Provost Marshal Office (PMO) operations with minimal disruption. Work with government and corporate stakeholders to solve hard problems and implement recommended solutions. Conduct executive level briefings to flag officers, senior government employees, and their staff. This position is located in Okinawa, Japan.Basic Qualifications:-Experience with solving complex problems using business best practices and providing recommendations in writing or through oral presentations-Experience with producing client–ready documentation and deliverables-Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word -Knowledge of DoD Installation Access Control System (IACS)-Knowledge of DoD facilities’ security requirements-Knowledge of project management fundamentals-Active Secret clearance-HS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:-Experience with Installation Provost Marshal Office operations -Experience with Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level-Knowledge of project, cost, and business management disciplines-Ability to articulate and present cost effective, intelligent, decisive, and risk–managed recommendations-Ability to be self–driven and results–oriented to effectively work multiple tasks concurrently across an ambiguous and uncertain international risk landscape-Ability to display multicultural awareness-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skillsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
