Information Assurance Specialist

Key Role:

Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Assist clients with Authorization to Operate (ATO) Packages and Authorization to Connect (ATC) Packages. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Validate secure systems and test security products and systems to detect security weakness.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with information assurance

-Experience with developing and maintaining Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guides (JSIG) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages

-Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, including ACAS, HBSS, SCAP, and DoD STIGs

-Experience with special access programs

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Active Top Secret clearance

-DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II Certification, including Security+, GSEC, or SSCP

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or Authorization and Accreditation (A&A)

-Knowledge of NIST 800; JAFAN 6/3, Protecting Special Access Program Information within Information Systems; DCID 6/3, Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information within Information Systems; ICD 503, Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, and Certification and Accreditation

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in EE, CS, Cybersecurity, IT, or IA

-DoD 8570.01M IAM Level II Certification, including CISSP or higher


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
