Healthcare Improvement Analyst, Senior

Key Role:Apply expertise in healthcare operations to assist clients with the process of continuous assessment and systematic improvement of care. Drive improvements in patient safety, quality of care, and patient experience. Implement health management consulting expertise in support of the Military Health System (MHS), including review of healthcare performance, identification of opportunities for performance improvement, and development of solutions for implementation. Plan, design, implement, and evaluate performance improvement interventions in collaboration with key stakeholders from across the health system. Provide project management support to oversee, track, and monitor all interventions. Develop leadership briefings to share outcomes, next steps, best practices, and key challenges associated with various interventions and support the MHS' overall goals of becoming a high reliability, learning organization. Ensure all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques.Basic Qualifications:-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment in a clinical role, including as an RN, MD, or PT-5 years of experience with safety, quality, or patient experience improvement initiatives, including planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale performance improvement efforts in a hospital or health system-Experience with program evaluation and data analytics-Ability to obtain a security clearance-BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications:-Experience in a direct client–facing consulting role, including building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff-Experience in the Military Healthcare System (MHS) or working directly with military leadership-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to be detail–oriented, flexible, proactive, and capable of multi–tasking and adapting quickly to changing client priorities and responding to ad–hoc requests-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-MS degree in Patient Safety Leadership or a related Healthcare Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, or Performance Improvement field-Certified Professional in Patient Safety, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Lean, Organizational Development Certification, or other Patient Safety Leadership, related Healthcare Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, or Performance Improvement fieldClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
