Developer, Lead

Key Role:

Work as a manager or leader of developers in an Agile and Scrum team environment to design, develop, test, and maintain public facing Web sites for complex software development projects. Plan, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Web applications using an assortment of technologies, including PHP and SQL, Drupal CMS, jQuery, and JS. Provide troubleshooting and remediation for production Web applications. Develop and consume Web services for integration with other applications. Collaborate with the Scrum master, project manager, product owners, business analysts, UI/UX engineer, and testers, and other contractors and stakeholders to ensure the comprehension of requirements and to facilitate the validation of system delivery. Participate in Scrum processes, including daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and unit and alpha testing.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Web application development using .NET, HTML, and Drupal, JS, jQuery, and SQL

-Experience with relational database development and design

-Experience with object–oriented software development

-Experience with Drupal CMS, including Drupal views, blocks, regions, Panels, Drush, patches, sourcing and testing modules, writing custom modules, developing content types, modifying theme in PHP, and Drupal Core API

-Experience with working in an Agile software development environment

-Ability to translate client requirements into application designs and systems requirements

-BA or BS degree in CS

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with issue tracking and change control tools, including TFS, JIRA, and Subversion

-Experience with technical document writing

-Knowledge of applications and environments employed in Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
