The Strategy & Realization Learning Partner works in partnership with key stakeholders to identify interdependencies and risk across the GHH L&D Portfolio with an objective of a shared vision. This person will drive cross functional collaboration and remove silos enabling the realization of the Global L&D vision. The role requires the ability to manage complex situations and projects through realization, credibility and trust.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage flow of work coming into the GHH L&D against Global and Divisional Criteria to manage the portfolio, identify and mitigate risks

  • Change Management planning and execution

  • Identify and Lead portfolio enablers transforming Learning & Development

  • Leadership: Demonstrated skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques to gain the cooperation and support of others; ability to lead by example and foster collaborative relationships

  • Influencing: Advanced ability to partner, collaborate, and impact decisions within and outside the organization

  • Strategic and Creative Thinking: Demonstrated skill in applying tools and techniques for grasping new concepts, acquiring new ways of seeing things, and revising ways of thinking and patterns of behavior

  • Interpersonal Relationships: Demonstrated skill in applying approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, including the ability to build and maintain critical networks and collaborative relationships

  • Oral and Written Communications: Advanced ability to express oneself to provide information to others effectively and in a succinct manner; strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities; ability to ask thoughtful questions to gain insights, listen, and understand other perspectives

  • Ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals and teams in improving efficiency and change.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Advanced ability to use a broad range of methods, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives when solving problems and making decisions

  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Advanced project planning and management experience, including the ability to contribute to operational , tactical, and strategic planning in support of the business plan

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required

  • Master’s degree, preferred

Required:

  • Strong Commercial/Business Acumen and Strategy Realization and planning with a minimum of 7 years of related commercial/professional experience, with minimum of 2 years of people management experience

  • Capabilities required to ensure realization of the business strategy (i.e., people, process, technology ;) Experience in applicable technical/professional areas pertinent to the division / function served

Preferred:

  • Experience facilitating / delivering learning solutions

  • Knowledge of the commercial landscape, Go to Markets strategies, and critical capabilities required for MSDs future success

  • Experience in the areas of learning, talent, HR, operations or comparable areas;
