Position Summary:

As a Pharmacist– Clinical ( Medicare Part D) you will work in a professional office setting on a team comprised of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The Clinical Pharmacist in the Government Services (Medicare Part D) department partners with healthcare providers to ensure the most appropriate medication is utilized. You will enjoy the cohesive and collaborative teamwork environment


  • Reviewing electronic clinical coverage determinations and appeals

  • Reviewing electronic medication requests

  • Researching drug information to maintain drug knowledge and disease state understanding for application to prior authorization reviews

You will also have the opportunity to challenge and grow your clinical knowledge by adding experience that focuses on clinically challenging cases.

Required Qualifications:

Active Ohio license, in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Managed care experience preferred

Past Medicare Part D Coverage preferred

Determinations and Appeals experience preferred


Bachelor's Pharmacy, or PharmD
