Bank of America Consumer Product Strategy Manager – Small Business Sales Performance in San Francisco, California
Manages a group of analysts that are responsible for performing strategic analysis to improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting and operational performance for consumer products and related divisions, such as credit cards. This position requires determining key priorities for their team while also providing analytical and technical guidance to analysts to drive project completion. Key functions involve developing asset quality monitoring, identifying business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions, and executing strategic enhancements. Manages the team's analysis focusing on criteria margins, model score use, forecasting, portfolio trends, and demographic performance. Responsible for conducting interviews, training Card Strategy/ Consumer Products Analysts, and guiding all aspects of project development. Communicates business trends creates financial assessments and interprets analytics for senior management. Proven experience at developing technical skills of their team. Sound knowledge of SAS / SQL, financial statements, and business processes preferred. 5+ years Strategy Management experience preferred
Build, maintain and enhance Small Business sales performance reporting for Small Business Bankers and Small Business Consultants (roughly 1600 associates)
Support senior leadership in creation and interpretation of reporting and analysis relevant in making strategic decisions for Small Business Sales
Conducts performance gap analyses andrecommend strategies to drive for desired results
Analysis of sales performance results, the impact of tactical initiatives, and monitoring pilot results
Migrate existing reporting to the Microstrategies platform under Consumer Reporting

Minimum of 5+ years’ business & functional experience conducting data driven analysis and providing data driven strategies
Advanced SQL skills (writing code)
High aptitude and demonstrated experience reviewing/assimilating/manipulating and interpreting large quantities of data; able to take that information and create management reporting, present key findings to a variety of audiences by telling the story (non-technology)
Experience within Small Business or Financial Center lines of business and knowledge of sales processes and incentive plans therein
Strong communication skills - written and verbal; able to influence/challenge and negotiate to keep all parties engaged in the process; hold others accountable without direct supervision
Proven ability to lead and consult both vertically and horizontally with Senior Executives and key partners (Executive Presence)
Advanced PowerPoint/Excel (including VBA)
4 year degree
Working knowledge of Bank of America’s data and systems, general bank policies, programs and procedures, financial/accounting practices
Commercial Lending, Treasury Product, Merchant and/or Financial Center experience
Experience leading multiple businesses -operational or sales businesses (Small Business Banking, Business Banking or Client Management)
