Wells Fargo Financial Consultant 4 in Saint Louis, Missouri

This opportunity is to join a team finance professionals in providing detailed demand & capacity analysis and activity-based costing data to the Operations & Branch Infrastructure (OBI) management team within the Wells Fargo Advisors business.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

• Working with a team that provides complex financial analysis in the activity-based costing and demand/capacity arenas in support of management decision-making for the OBI line of business.

• Partnering with the OBI management team in developing and maintaining detailed cost reporting packages and the associated data inputs including demand metrics, headcount, time studies, financial results on a monthly basis.

• Producing S&O level business metric reporting; informing management of trends and variances and recommending appropriate action; working with business partners to collect internal business metric data, analyzing, testing for accuracy, identifying and resolving problems; initiating and/or managing the analysis and reporting of alternative business directions or solutions to S&O management.

• Providing OBI leadership with monthly executive summary reporting which highlights key trends, drivers of demand and related expenses and Interpreting and reporting actionable finding to assist with expense management activities and organizational efficiencies.

• Participating on project work streams to provide driver insights into financial impact and rationale for all business projects and initiatives, which includes: business case development/justification, costing model construction, implementation/execution tracking, etc.

• Partnering with COEs (Center of Excellence) to understand cost drivers/methodologies used to allocate costs to business channels, as well as partnering on allocation reporting, documentation and explanations.

• Assist in updating and maintaining Firm Product Profitability analysis across business channels, presenting findings, providing in-depth analysis of drivers of expenses YOY and across products/channels.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of finance experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
