Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Area Executve Chef 1 to join our team at Boehringer in Ridgefield CT. Sodexo has partnered with Boehringer for over 30 years!! The Boehringer campus consists of 3 buildings each with a corporate cafe, coffer bar and catering operations. Total MV is 3.5 million.
The Area Executive Chef 1 is the Senior Culinary person with 3 Executive Chefs reporting to them that oversees the day to day operation in each corporate cafe. This is an opportunity for innovative and creative chef who thrives in a fast paced environment . This position supports all facets of daily culinary production including all daily retail and catering production, overseeing the development of culinary employees. The best qualified candidate will have excellent leadership experience. They will have a focus on safety and sanitation and quality and standards.
High volume culinary experience;
Emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design & implementation;
Experience managing food and labor cost controls to meet targets;
Extensive culinary experience with high volume catering and creating VIP catering menus (
Demonstrated experience providing strong leadership, including supervision, direction and training, to a diverse team of employees;
High level of computer literacy and skill-set;
Strong understanding of financials and strong analytical thinking skills;
Ability to bring innovative and fresh ideas to our client
Has a passion for contemporary and innovative culinary trends. Proven experience with top food trends;

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree in culinary or related field
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of experience in operations
