The chosen candidate will interact with a diverse array of world-class scientists in a professional work environment and will be focused on making impactful contributions to pipeline projects through NMR problem solving. The role will also emphasize NMR hardware support for the West Point, PA NMR facility and the selected individual will be the primary contact for service and repair of these instruments.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual, who, while capable of working independently, understands and values cross-functional team-work and our common mission to invent and develop new therapeutic solutions to unmet medical needs. You will collaborate with synthetic, purification, computational, and analytical chemists in solving challenging structural problems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in small molecule and peptide characterization using NMR spectroscopy. Experience in advanced molecular modeling methods and density functional theory calculations would be preferred.

Education:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry or equivalent degree

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in structure elucidation with a proven track record of accomplishments in the area of small organic molecule structure elucidation (e.g., natural products, pharmaceuticals, peptides, etc.).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of NMR instrumentation, methodology and software.
