The GIB Relationship Associate (RA) is responsible for supporting a moderate to large and/or complex portfolio of customers for our Healthcare Financial Services group. That support includes but is not limited to independently and proactively handling customer requests/issues, monitoring overdrafts, confirming additional sources of funds, and mitigating risk of designated portfolio. The RA monitors accounts, portfolios and loan bookings to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, policies and credit guidelines; Is responsible for effectively executing the customer onboarding process (to include customer due diligence and other associated risk management matters); serves as the primary point of contact for customer questions and requests; Conducts customer courtesy calls, by phone, and in-person, to build relationship and identify cross-sell opportunities.

The Relationship Associate is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and "owns that experience" by working with the Relationship Manager and Treasury partner to better understand the needs of the customer and build lasting relationships with customer contacts.

As a member of the GIB team, the RA also has a key role in protecting our customers and Wells Fargo through adherence to and execution of GIB processes and procedures with an emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, and risk identification/escalation matters. This includes making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

/Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements./

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of account relationship management support experience, customer service experience or a combination of both
