Lockheed Martin Computer Systems Architect Manager in Orlando, Florida

The primary focus of the MFC Infrastructure Architect is to lead the development and execution of the MFC Infrastructure Technical Strategy and Roadmaps. This individual will be an advocate for new technology and inspire and engage the Infrastructure Team to experiment and adopt them in our projects/programs.

Key efforts include: • Support MFC Digital Transformation Objectives through IT Enablement and Leadership • Develop and Execute the MFC Infrastructure Technology Roadmap in alignment with the EBS Infrastructure Technology Roadmap • Collaborate with other MFC IT and Functional Organizations to align IT Strategies to Business Drivers • Collaborate with MFC Application teams to define integrated technical strategies and approaches • Engage in technical programs (mentoring, employee engagements) to serve as a technology advocate.

Duties of the MFC Infrastructure Architect include, but are not limited to: • Establish the MFC Infrastructure and Technologies roadmap, providing direction on topics such as prototypes, trades and new industry tools. • Contribute to Functional/Domain technical strategy and roadmaps. • Perform as Infrastructure technical authority on MFC and Enterprise level boards and technical reviews. • Ensure that technical solutions are horizontally integrated in an efficient manner across MFC. • Ensure successful resolution of cross-domain/function technical issues. • Collaborate with MFC EBS leadership to ensure organization is aligned to and prepared to execute the strategy for MFC Infrastructure. • Contribute to the development of emerging technology domain expertise in the MFC IT organization. • Perform as Strategic Interface for Technology Suppliers

Basic Qualifications • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams • Understanding of state of the art technologies related to infrastructure design, development, deployment, operations and maintenance. • Experience in design of Infrastructure Architectures. • Demonstrated experience in developing and communicating technical strategies, plans, and roadmaps. • Demonstrated experience working projects across dispersed organizations and geographical locations. • Demonstrated ability to develop positive customer relationships • Demonstrated experience with business process improvement. • Strong systems engineering skills • Strong communications and influencing skills with executive level personnel, colleagues and subordinates. • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs.

Desired skills • Demonstrated leadership in an Infrastructure/Systems Architecture lead role • Working knowledge of IT processes and technologies. • Demonstrated expertise across IT Solution life-cycle • Knowledgeable of MFC BA, EBS and MFC IT strategy • Knowledge of one or more emerging technical disciplines such as cloud, IOT, machine learning, analytics, digitization, automation, etc.
